James Forrest - Owner/Head Trainer

I founded The K Club in 2004. The six years prior to this was spent working in a variety of rolls within the fitness industry.

I knew it was time to go alone when I noticed a pattern forming in health clubs which I felt strongly against. This pattern being that shiny clubs had thousands of members all training like robots. There was no consideration that everybody is different. Just when you got to remember a members name it was to late; they had left! With the average large chain gym having a 60% retention rate, something needed to be done.

My aim was clear and simple. To provide effective training for all abilities with a personal touch. Three years on and my expectations have been surpassed. Since we been open 95% of our current members are original users, it speaks for itself.
