A Journey of Discovery
If you are reading this, well done to you, as you have already taken the biggest step by being here at The K Club. Back in January 2006 I too took that first step into the unknown. I had tried several gyms before, been on all the diets going, paid large sums of money to be told of all the food intolerances I had, tried Chinese medicine because apparently my ying and yang were out of sync. Its your age, metabolism etc. Just to feel even more of a failure than before as nothing was working to correct the neglected state of the body but more importantly the mind. What was perhaps the cause of this, was one of the most important discoveries. Why this gym, why this trainer, why train at home too. I now know the answer - if you put in the effort it works. They are totally professional and really do know what they are doing. I can’t say its been an easy journey but it has certainly been an interesting and worthwhile one. Having now lost in excess of two and a half stone and dropping four dress sizes, not only do I feel good physically but I have become stronger mentally. My self esteem which had been eroded, together with my self confidence has also returned. I wish all who read this the best - do it for you - you really are worth it.

I originally came to The K Club to train after the birth of my daughter and prepare for the filming of 'Primeval'. Enjoyed the variety, the direction and the level of service. Very pleased as all of my goals were achieved.

Since February I have enjoyed three mornings a week working out at The K Club, a very friendly gym with first-class instructors who look after you for your full hours workout.

Good instructions and personal attention. Much more friendly than a large impersonal gym. Up-to-date equipment and keen instructors.

When the K Club opened, I thought I would give gyms one more chance. That was over 3 years ago. I'm hooked. It's not like any other gym I've ever been to. It's fun!
